ATHENS - A former University of Georgia football star gets thrown for a loss in court. Federal Bankruptcy Judge James Smith decides former UGA coach Jim Donnan didn't deliberately con ex-player Kendrell Bell.

Bell says Donnan convinced him to invest $2 million dollars into G-L-C, a West Virginia company that turned out to be a Ponzi scheme.

Last year Donnan filed for bankruptcy protection.
