MONROE - The death of the Monroe man found earlier this week in Oglethorpe County is ruled a homicide. Authorities say Charles Parker was shot at least twice before his body was left at the bottom of a well near Sandy Cross Road.
Police aren't saying much else about the investigation, including whether or not they have any suspects.
The 25-year-old Parker worked at a Bank of America in Athens and served as a Sunday school teacher. He was last week on January 15th, when police say he was looking at a piece of real estate in Madison County with a business partner.
