ATHENS - George Haynes returns to court this week, where a judge will decide if he's mentally fit to stand trial. The 61-year-old Haynes is withdrawing a guilty plea for his role as a getaway driver in the 2005 murder of George Bennett.

Haynes claims his lawyers misled him into the plea deal, which sentenced him to 25-year behind bars.

If Judge David Sweat finds Haynes mentally competent, he may face a jury next week.
